In order to elect Conservative Councillors and MPs we need volunteers. There are so many ways that you can help and we are always trying to reach out to people who are willing to:
- Deliver leaflets locally (even if it is only their road)
- Help out with a street stall
- Help with doorstep surveys and canvassing
- Host a small fundraising event
- Display a poster during campaigns
- Make phone calls from home
- Act as ‘tellers’ at polling stations
- Fill envelopes
Some are able to do more than others, we understand that. But we need supporters like you to do something, however small, if you feel that you possibly can. We never ask people to do more than they feel comfortable with and everything you can do will help make the difference.
If you would like to get involved today and make great friends along the way, then please fill in the form at the bottom of this page (somebody will be in touch to discuss how you can help swiftly). Please do spread the word to any friends or family who may be interested in helping out also.
Whilst we would not be able to campaign effectively without our volunteers, we would not be able to fund our campaigning without our members. Please consider joining your local Conservative Association.
If you’ve not previously considered joining the Conservative Party, can we encourage you to take a look? Central Suffolk & North Ipswich Conservatives are a successful, vibrant and forward looking association and are always keen to attract new members and involve yet more people in our work. We run regular events, which give our local party members the opportunity to socialise with likeminded local people and discuss policy.
Membership of the party also gives you voting rights when it comes to determining who your local conservative candidates should be.
We also need your help. Especially at election times we struggle to cover such a wide and diverse area. If you could help by delivering leaflets, stuffing envelopes, putting up a poster, then let us know. More active supporters can help with canvassing (talking to people on the doorstep or by telephone) or helping to get our voters to the polling station. You don't have to be a member, there's no test, and there will be someone to help if there are any questions you are unsure about.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Association!
