Appointed at Central Suffolk & North Ipswich Conservative Association AGM on 17th May 2024.
Tom Faulkner, born in Suffolk and lives in Framlingham with his young family. Tom is a business executive and has spent his working career within multinational industrial process engineering businesses, in operational and leadership positions. Tom is results driven and believes in taking a pragmatic approach to get things done.
Politically Tom would describe himself as a One-Nation, liberal conservative who believes in enterprise, self-determination and low levels of state intervention into people’s lives. He is pro-EU and believes strongly in the need to tackle existential issues such as climate change both at a local level and at a pan European level.
Tom has a deep love of Suffolk and is keen to do everything he can at a local level to help conserve the elements of Suffolk that make it such a special place, like its landscape, its thriving entrepreneurial economy, the remaining areas of unspoiled nature and its rural communities.
At a local level, where Politics is less relevant, Tom wishes to support those in the ecosystem of governance, whatever political allegiance, to make good long term decisions that will benefit the constituency, the county and our wider region.
